About this Project
This project, sponsored by the City of Grande Prairie, consisted of the installation/replacement of PVC storm sewer lines to repair distressed infrastructure, outfall improvements, asphalt restoration (urban and trail locations) and landscape restoration, at seventeen locations throughout the city.
Extra work was requested by The City to address additional repairs in a residential neighbourhood to due to the deterioration of the infrastructure and address other field changes needed at multiple locations.
Construction particulars included
- Project start up activities; contract execution, submittals (ECO/ESC Plan, TAS, Schedule, Shop Drawings, Permitting), and procurement
- Installation of 300/375/450/525/750/1050mm PVC storm sewer (366m, total) c/w fittings, manholes, catch basins and CCTV inspection
- 450mm flared end and 750mm headwall replacements
- Installation of 300/400mm CSP culvert (30m, total) with rip rap end treatments
- Asphalt pavement restoration (3,150m2), urban/trail landscape restoration
