About this Project

The Clearwater River Dene Nation sponsored this project located in Clearwater River, Saskatchewan – a remote community approximately 600kms north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Work is comprised of the repair of underground utilities, reinstallation of a service connection and roadway repairs. While on site The Nation took the opportunity to address an additional in sanitary repairs.

 

Construction particulars include

  • 200mm (111m) storm sewer line replacement between manholes
  • Manhole repairs, one lowered and six requiring adjustments and repairs
  • Ditch repairs and installation of erosion control measures including foundation improvements and rip rap installation
  • Youth Center sanitary sewer building service repairs 150mm insulated pipe (34m) with 200mm duct and associated service connection
  • Extra work included; a residential service replacement and additional sanitary repairs in multiple locations
  • Site restoration of roadways including subgrade preparation, traffic gravel placement, CSP culvert installations and driveway approach installations
