About this Project

Sponsored by the Village of Ryley, work consisted of the replacement of sanitary and water mains, and site restoration in Ryley, Alberta.

Extra work was requested during construction to extend the temporary water services and revise two facility service connections to accommodate public use, Option collaborated with the Village to find costs savings during construction to lessen the impact to the total budget.

Construction particulars include

  • Project start up activities; contract execution, submittals (ECO/ESC Plan, TAS, Schedule, Shop Drawings), and procurement
  • Removals including the existing road structure (2,900m2), the existing sanitary sewer main and water main (asbestos cement), sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete stair, and misc. other removals
  • Installation of 200mm PVC SDR35 sanitary sewer main (235m) with portions insulated and the replacement of three sanitary manholes
  • Installation of 150mm PVC DR18 watermain (245m) with three tie ins to the existing infrastructure
  • Replacement of 10 residential service connections (water and sanitary)
  • Asphalt pavement restoration (245m2)
  • Site restoration
